Food & Health Angels Network Launches to Accelerate Science-Driven Food and Health Innovation

The UC Davis Innovation & Economic Development Office (IEDO) highlights the launch of the Food & Health Angels (FH Angels) network as a major step in advancing science-driven food and health innovation. The network is designed to connect early-stage startups with experienced investors who bring both capital and domain expertise. Leveraging UC Davis’ leadership in agriculture, food science, and health, FH Angels aims to accelerate the commercialization of breakthrough technologies addressing metabolic health and nutrition challenges. The initiative also strengthens regional and university-driven innovation ecosystems by supporting founders through mentorship, partnerships, and access to resources.
